My Daily Skincare Routine

My skincare routine is quite simple – cleanser, toner, moisturizer.

I use @cleanandclear Foaming Facewash to wash my face. I have tried many different brands but this gives me the least breakouts, so I use this for many years.

⭐I make the toner on my own. I use a spray bottle which I got from @minisoindia , you can find them in @healthandglow and @newu_dabur stores as well. Fill it up with purified water and add around 20 drops of tea tree oil to it. I have been using the tea tree oil @aroma_treasures for years now, bought it many times. Shake it well and the toner is ready. I spray it all over my face, pat it and let the skin dry.

I have recently added the @mcaffeineofficial Face Oil with 14 oils to my skincare routine. It moisturises and nourishes the skin.

Then I apply the @thebodyshopindia Vitamin E Moisture Cream and massage it well with my hands.

For eyes, I apply the @aromamagicindia Under Eye Cream all around my eyes, upper lid, under eye, and both corners and massage it well.

Finally, I use my @palmers Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Dark Chocolate Lip balm. Trust me guys this one is the best. One tube has lasted for so long, I have been using it for years.

⭐Keep in mind to not switch your skincare products too often. It also saves you time, once you find a product that suits your skin, stick to it. We want to try everything available in the market, but it can be harsh on the skin.

This has been my skincare routine for the last 1.5 years, as you all know I used to have no time for myself. I used nothing extra, now I have time to think of applying face packs and face masks occasionally. & I never take facials or any other saloon treatments for my face, I just don’t like it.

Always take care of your hydration and nutrition, for a natural glow. I am writing this after cribbing about not having time, because my hydration and nutrition were also affected in the last 2 years.

Last but not least, have strong boundaries, don’t let anyone drain your energy. Stay away from drama, don’t earn stress and bad karma. This is the only anti-ageing advice I follow. Again, I could not protect my energy in the last 2 years but now I can.

Take responsibility for your own happiness

This one is such a gem. When you learn this one, day by day and then after practice you finally know the difference.

Irrespective of the situation be whatever it is, you take care of your own happiness.Irrespective of whatever problems going on.. you own your mental, psychological & emotional space. And you allow noone into that space to create a mess.

Remember when Maya Angelou says -“keep a place in your heart, that is pristine and clean no matter what, that nobody can touch” and Oprah agrees to it as the best advice she has ever got.

Own Your Happiness and never depend on anyone for it. You are your own source of light, love, peace, hope and happiness. Oh and don’t try to take responsibility to make everyone happy, only yourself.#own your happiness and own your life.

A break from life

It’s summer here in Bangalore & I can remember my childhood days totally. If you are an Indian and 90’s kid, remember the fun, freedom and happiness, the summer vacation used to bring to each of us. We would wait for the summers to arrive whole year. We used to be free souls and happy from within for no big reasons.

These days when I look around, I struggle to find people who are happy like we used to be in childhood. I see people smiling, laughing, enjoying, partying. I see all kind of joyful people who are now adults but I don’t see that absolute happiness in anyone.
