◽I was thinking of posting about the incident when karmic was rude to me on the trip. While thinking about it, I realised I am confused about the trip itinerary. No problem, karmic’s YouTube video will show us the itinerary. Everyone said they loved the raw editing. Well, the entire YouTube video was my idea, and karmic stole it. I made a collab deal about the YouTube video with the Tripnaari owner Preeti during the trip in front of everyone. And it’s not like the credit for shooting the video goes to karmic, because these video clips were not her own, she used clips that others recorded. It’s more like you are watching a video that I posted, but karmic has cut the clips where I could be seen more than her. 💁🏻‍♀️◽To clarify one more thing, I went on this trip because I was told it’s a girls’ trip. If you check the Tripnaari page, they often make thirst posts by girls, and they also hide the boys who come on these trips in the social media posts. They usually allow men on these trips, but call themselves a travel company for women travellers. All the girls on our trip didn’t mind travelling with stranger men, because they were looking for hookups. I was the only one who asked Preeti if they invited men just because the company is new and it’s probably their first trip. They said the guys are with the company, like her brother Lokesh is a manager, photographer Pradeep, videographer Aagreet, and Kamal for music. Kamal ko orchestra wala bana diya usne, FYI Kamal paid for the trip, he was not there to play music for them. Anyway I am not scared of travelling solo either, so I adjusted with the not so girls trip. 4 boys and 8 girls. 2 Girls were sisters, so they were not joining us in every activity.

I had resigned from my IT job on 31 December and was serving a one-month notice period. Then I won this trip worth 4000 Rs in a giveaway, and I really needed a vacation. Money wasn’t an issue, but I didn’t have friends to travel with. A few days in advance, I got predictions that I was about to meet a soulmate. I didn’t know what the word ‘soulmate’ meant, so I thought it would be a best friend. But the night before the trip I started freaking out, I had realised it was going to be a romantic connection. Like I knew the moment to meet the one is here, so I wanted to let go of the past. I burnt my second ex Moulik Mehta’s photos also, it was like a move-on ritual for me in Jab We Met style. I didn’t even focus on packing because I couldn’t stop thinking about what’s going to happen tomorrow.

◽This was the itinerary: The trip started on 17 January, and it was a 3-day trip not a 2-day trip. We left our houses early in the morning around 5-6 am. Kamal and I went in the same taxi because we lived in Electronic City. I had already asked everyone’s age when we were planning for the can on 16 January, because I wanted to know which one is my Twinflame. We reached the pickup points, and then we left Bangalore by 7 am. I started paying attention and observing Kamal when we were going to Gokarna to see if he is the soulmate I was meant to meet. We reached Gokarna and first stopped at Mirjan Fort before going to the hotel, but the fort was closed. Reached the hotel, which was a shack on Kudle beach. We didn’t go anywhere and rested in the hotel for the evening. All the rooms were meant for two people, karmic was my roommate. We had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant. Kamal and I started opening up to each other by this time. I also helped him with the lyrics and to record music reels. I felt like he is a childhood friend, I have lived in many cities because my dad always used to get transferred. So I genuinely thought he was one of the kids I used to play with every day.

18 January. Some people woke up early and went to see the sunrise, like karmic and Sagarika. The next morning, girls were taking photos at Kudle Beach before heading out for the day. We went to Yana Caves and a waterfall, both are in the same place. I was feeling tired after so much trekking, so I didn’t go inside the caves, but Kamal did. I waited for everyone at a bench and spent my time talking to other female travellers. Kamal came back, and he said he didn’t know, otherwise he would have stayed with me instead of going to the caves. He had also started looking at me all the day, I was sitting behind him in the traveller. Then we went back to the hotel, everyone was walking on the beach. And I was getting triggered and angry at Kamal about anything. He just told me to pet a dog because he knew I like animals, and I was so mad at him for giving me orders. Then I realised I was triggered because of my second ex Moulik Mehta, because I had gone to Gokarna and Kudle Beach with him when we were in a relationship. So I did a meditation sitting at the beach while everyone was having fun. I had to let go of the past before connecting with my Twinflame. While my delusional ex must have been stalking me, thinking I went to Gokarna because I was missing him 🤣. I even made a post for my ex. I wouldn’t have gone to Gokarna but I had decided to not feel scared to go to places where I had experienced abuse or harassment, I didn’t want to live in the past anymore.

Then everyone changed into their party outfits, had dinner and then we did pub hopping at the beach. Kamal and I ate together from one plate. We also went to a tea shop, that’s where I was playing with a puppy, Kamal was with me in this cafe. Everyone also had beer. Kamal even gave a treat to everyone because he recently got a job offer at IBM. We talked about a lot of things. I told them once a guy persued me so much to go on a date with him on my birthday, and then he made me pay the bill as a birthday treat. That guy made me wait for 2 hours on my birthday, he got only a Dairymilk chocolate for me, that too because I asked, and he made me pay a 2200 Rs bill. He didn’t even pay his share of the bill, what the hell? It cost so much because the guy chose a stand-up comedy show for our date. But the same stand-up comedian publicly embarrassed that guy with the jokes 🤣 and he got karma, I had fun. Kamal said, “Why do I never find girls who like to share the bill?” He was already thinking I was his type. We also talked about being a fan of Nora Fatehi. Kamal and I had a lot of common interests, we were perfect for each other. Karmic and Lalita were busy bickering about the food and having to wait for a table in a pub. I also helped Kamal shoot music reels and with the lyrics again. Then I changed my outfit into simple clothes after the pub hopping was over, because Aagreet made me feel uncomfortable by zooming his camera into my neck area.

Then everyone wasn’t feeling like sleeping, so we gathered at the beach again, like a bonfire. It was Kamal and all the girls, don’t know where the remaining 3 boys were. Kamal was playing guitar and singing songs, thinking of me, and I was trying to hide the extreme emotions I was feeling, by this time we had fallen in love. I also made a sandcastle and then destroyed it, and Kamal said I made the castle and destroyed it myself like Buddhist monks do. Khud hi banaya, khud hi tod diya, koi aur nahi todega ye castle 😅. He also said my personality is just like his Naani (grandmother). I also shot music reels for him, girlfriend duties you know, other girls were lazy. Then Lalita decided to go back to her room, and she also ordered Kamal to go back. I wondered if they were dating. I guess Lalita was also getting jealous watching me and Kamal developing a connection. Kamal couldn’t set boundaries with her, so he went back to his room, and the music session ended. But some people including me, stayed at the beach for stargazing, Aagreet was trying to shoot a timelapse video.

By this time Kamal and I had talked about a lot of things, and I knew a lot about him. So after going back to our room, karmic asked me why Lalita took Kamal with her. Karmic was also jealous, I said I don’t know. She asked me more questions, and I told her Kamal was talking to me about his ex-fiancé Vaishali. I told karmic that Vaishali cancelled their wedding, and his dad had paid 4 lakhs for the wedding arrangements, so their money was wasted. Maybe the mention of 4 lakhs is why she chose Kamal as her target. Next karmic told me the story about her ex-fiancé. Portraying her ex as the bad guy, she said he was abusive, so she cancelled the wedding. So it was 18 January when she told me the story, not 17 January.

The next morning 19 January, when we had breakfast, I noticed Kamal was stressed about something but I couldn’t understand what it was about. He had already recognised the Twinflame connection, and he was worried that we wouldn’t meet again. Both of us were trying to impress each other and spend time with each other all day. We went to a temple in the city area and walked into a market. Everyone bought T-shirts from a shop, where Kamal helped me choose a red T-shirt for myself. Once Lalita told me to hold her hairclip because she was busy shopping, but then I noticed she gave me a dirty tissue with it. Euww, she won’t throw it in the road but give it to me. Kamal called her cunning (chant) and gave her a comeback for bullying me. I wanted to smoke, so I already asked Kamal, and he said yes. So I bought two cigarettes when I found a shop in this market. Then we went to the Mirjan Fort for the second time, today we went before the sunset, so it was open. I went inside the fort, and I also clicked solo pics for karmic. Being from Rajasthan, forts aren’t anything exciting to me, we have forts everywhere. So I was getting bored, and I realised Kamal is also not here. I went outside the fort and found Kamal, so then I decided to spend time with him in the traveller (our vehicle). He showed me his music recordings. Once I felt like he was thinking of kissing me, but he didn’t. But I got to know his feelings even if he didn’t use words to express them. Recently he told me he was really thinking about it, but he didn’t want to make me awkward. After this talk, I called my college best friend and told him “I know this is my soulmate”. Then we talked some more at a small shop as we waited for others, I had coconut water and he had a tea. He talked more about his ex. His ex-girlfriend had cancelled their wedding, which was in December, one month before we met. He was sad, so he came on this trip to move on. It was Kamal’s first trip, by the way. From the beginning, I was encouraging him to enjoy travel and adventure, like Bunny and Naina from the Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani movie.

Then we went to Om Beach. Gokarna has hills and beaches both, so we had to trek to reach the beaches. We parked the vehicle and went downhill to reach the beach. Then we had a late lunch, waiting for the sunset. I ordered a cheese omelette and offered it to everyone, but when the plate reached Kamal, he finished it completely. 💁🏻‍♀️ Then I said, ‘What?’. He said it’s not his fault because I asked him to eat. He started talking about his brother and mom. He said in childhood, his brother used to save bhindi ki sabzi for himself in the fridge and not eat it at all, so he used to fight about it with his brother and Mom. That’s when I realised he comes from a dysfunctional family, and he is triggered right now. I didn’t mind it anymore if he finished the omelette. I got to know in 2023 from karmic’s YouTube videos that bhindi ki sabzi is Kamal’s favourite, she was making fun of him, saying no one likes bhindi (ladyfinger). So basically, Kamal’s mom never gave him his favourite sabzi. I also noticed many times in 2020 that Kamal takes such a small amount of veggies in every bite. He is a millionaire but was taught to eat like this by his abusive parents.

Then all the girls were getting hot photos clicked in the water. It was more like a “Samandar mein naha ke aur bhi namkeen ho gayi ho” photoshoot. I didn’t go inside the water at all. The photographer Pradeep was also tharki, I realised this when I saw those photos recently.
